Shepherding Little Hearts

Thank you so much for your interest in using these devotionals to help teach your children about Jesus. I believe whole heartedly that it is our job as parents to put the word of God in front of them and allow the Lord to work in their little minds and hearts. By the end of each devotional they might be able to tell you every lesson start to finish or they might simply learn how much Jesus loves them. Either way, we have been faithful to our calling as their earthly shepherd and we can trust that the Lord is ‘beginning a good work in them’.

 I pray each lesson opens their minds to the Gospel and lets them see their own need for a Savior. May they understand at an early age that action is required on their part to invite Jesus into their little hearts! I hope these words, pictures, crafts and songs give you an avenue to talk in depth about the love of our Savior with your littles.

I am praying with you that as you make your way through these devotionals, the littles that hear it will grow a desire to prepare Him room in their hearts! I am also praying FOR you as you shepherd the hearts of your little ones day to day and through each holiday season!
